Radio Workshop

Registration
Registration for the radio workshop is free. Please send an e-mail to IMC 2023 LOC if you plan to participate. This registration is separate from the one at IMC 2023 and therefore does not appear in the registration page.
Meals and accommodation
Lunch will be served at the Euro Space Center, to be paid by the participants. Coffee breaks will be provided free of charge.
We propose to have dinner together after the workshop in the restaurant of Hôtel Val-de-Poix. We also encourage the workshop participants to stay there on Wednesday night. We have blocked 20 rooms at Hôtel Val-de-Poix until April 15 at the special rate of 91€ for a single room and 119€ for a twin / double room, including taxes and breakfast the next morning. Please let us know by e-mail before April 15 if you want to participate in the dinner and/or stay overnight at the hotel.

Program
The exact program will be available closer to the date but during this radio workshop, we would like to cover specifically the following topics:
- Optical vs radio observations
- Observability function
- Forward scatter vs back scatter system
- Sounding the MLT with radio observations
- Other methods of radio observations of meteors, including for example ionosondes
We will organize this workshop with short presentations followed by time for discussions.
